The Ship Shape adjustable base comes with 4" glides and 2" push-in locking casters that can be added to the 4" legs. It comes with a Whisper Quiet, DC motor with a lift capacity of 450 pounds. Attached to the base is a wired remote control with a simplified touch key configuration. This unique Free-Fall Design has three comfortable positions. The height of the base from floor to top of platform is 16". The Ship Shape is the same high quality as other Leggett & Platt adjustable bed frames, but it is the least expensive. This is because some of the surrounding material on the underside of the unit has been trimmed down. This allows for the unit to be shipped UPS and assembled by the customer.
