You finally decide to purchase a new mattress, base or bed frame and the first thing you think of is comfort, not weight limit. When you are shopping for an adjustable base weight limit is actually a factor. You are spending a lot of money on a feature that involves movement. You do not want to have to worry about whether or not that is going to work for you and your family.
Basic adjustable bed bases put the weight limit at 500 pounds. Considering the average weight of an American male is at a minimum of 200lbs, it would be very easy to get close to that weight limit for two people sleeping in a bed. Even if the weight between yourself and your partner is safely below 500lbs, you do not want to panic if your child or big dog decides to jump on the bed with you.
One could assume to avoid this problem you would just have to spend more on your adjustable bed base. Sealy’s most expensive adjustable base currently sits at $1,699. (As of August 2016) This base has a maximum weight limit of 650 pounds. Serta has a base that goes higher, but is hard to find for under $1400.
This is where Leggett & Platt come in. They have realized that it can be quite easy to get close to the weight limit of a basic adjustable mattress. Normally when there are limits set on something it is in your best interest to not use the item at max capacity. With the Falcon Adjustable mattress you don’t have to worry about low limits or high costs.
The Falcon adjustable base is one of the lowest price points on the market with such a high weight limit. Sitting at a solid $799 you are getting all of the benefits of a $1000+ adjustable base with money left to spend on other things.
No need to fear about the quality when dealing with such a low cost. Leggett & Platt sacrificed nothing when creating the Falcon base. They used a compression technique that has made the base stronger than ever, while somehow keeping it 30lbs lighter than a typical adjustable base. It would be easy to assume a higher weight limit equals a heavier base, but no need to worry about that with the Falcon.
Again, focusing on your comfort, Leggett & Platt have designed the motor to be quiet. The higher weight limit does not result in a screaming motor that is going to wake up the entire house. The motor on the Falcon adjustable base is so quiet, you can even move it while your partner is asleep.
Many people may feel the urge to shop around as much as possible. Leggett & Platt are focusing on making your life easy and comfortable. Once you find the Falcon adjustable base you’re going to have a hard time finding something better or even close at this price.
