The Sealy Ease adjustable base and the Reverie 3E are two bases that you could easily put side by side. When shopping for a big purchase, it can be very hard to decide between all the different options. We are going to try and make that easy for you with today’s comparison of these two bases.
The Sealy Ease adjustable base is going to give you everything you need at an average price point for the category. The features are a bit slim, but the ones that are included, you will really benefit from. The first obvious feature is the wireless remote. From the remote you have access to the ergonomic positions, as well as a ‘One-Touch Flat’ button that will return the bed to the standard position. There is an LED light on the remote, but it doesn’t seem like it will make a huge difference in a very dark room. The Ease fits in many standard be frames, has 9” metal legs and works with most mattresses.
The Reverie 3E has some impressive features too, although they seem quite different from the Ease. The remote on the 3E is wired, but has the same features as the Ease. The weight limit on the 3E is 850lbs for a queen. 200lbs higher than what the Ease offers. The legs on the Signature are 8” with powder coated steel. A whisper quiet lift system is featured on the 3E, which makes motion during the night a lot more quieter.
Both adjustable bases feature a retainer bar in the same location. The warranty looks to be 5 years longer on the 3E. For the first year, parts, shipping, and in-home service are covered at no cost to you for any service calls related to manufacturers defects with your adjustable base. The second through fifth-year parts are covered at no cost to you, and for the remainder of the warranty the mechanical frame parts a warranted against manufacturer's defects. The Sealy Ease has a 15-year prorated warranty that covers parts and labor associated with servicing the adjustable base for the first year, parts are covered for up to 5 years from the date of purchase, and the remainder of the warranty covers the frame against manufacturers defects
At the end of the day the Reverie 3E is $150 more for a longer warranty and a higher weight limit.
